Funding for young people’s film making

Into Film is offering grants of up to £10,000 to organisations working with young people aged from 14 to 19.

To be eligible, groups must be working with at least 20 young people not in mainstream education. The grant programme is intended to fund two short films as part of a project that includes extensive film watching and understanding and other activities such as staging mini-festivals, screenings and masterclasses.

Applicants will be required to set up a Film Club at the beginning of their project to support watching and learning activities.

Into Film will accept a maximum of 70 applications for this funding round. Once that number has been reached, the round will close and no further applications will be accepted. If the cap of 70 applications is not met then the round will close at 2pm on Wednesday 7th May 2014.
