CV | In 2004 my first novel The Double Life of Daniel Glick was published by Dedalus Books to critical acclaim: “thrillingly disturbing” (The Times) “a startlingly original writer”. The novel was launched as an e-book in 2013. In 2010, I was awarded a David Lean Foundation Scholarship to attend The National Film and Television School to complete a Masters in Screenwriting. During my time at the NFTS, I wrote four full-length feature scripts. The first of these, Panoramic, was written for the Finnish director Ville Kerimaa. The script is in development with Helsinki Films and was selected for the 2013 Berlin Film Festival Co-Production Market. I was one of the award winners on the 2013 edition of the Engage Co-Production Programme with my feature script Our Lady of Czestochowa. In 2013 I co-wrote the Italian feature called I, Harlequin which was co directed by Giorgio Pasotti (The Great Beauty) and due for release in 2014. I have written/directed two short films. Our Name is Michael Morgan (2012) and Camilla in the Looking Glass (2014). I am represented by Tania Hurst-Brown and Matthew Bates at Sayle Screen. |
