shortest nightsShort Sighted Cinema is running a 12-hour film festival, The Shortest Nights, on the Summer Solstice, June 21st, at Electroworkz on Islington’s Torrens Street. The organisers are still accepting submissions with a deadline of Sunday May 10th 2015, and it’s free to submit your film.

They work with festivals, charities, councils and community cinemas to bring new audiences to short film.

If you’d like to go to the festival, which will include workshops, beers, banter and a BBQ, you can buy an advance ticket here. Early bird tickets are £20 and standard tickets are £25.
